eye corner of the eye to highlight the brow and eye. With the Eyeshadow Applicator, blend a mid-toned Eyeshadow
color onto the eyelid from the lash line to the crease. Blend edges. Apply a deeper Eyeshadow color to the outer 1/3 of the eye lid in the crease, blending as you go and building the color gradually. Apply eye shadow
over the eyeliner. This helps to set it and holds the liner in place for longer. Line the lash line with the Eyeliner

I wanted to try the bronzed book of shadows out because I loved the look of them and I read the reviews about it and I figured $5 is super affordable so if don't like it oh well. Well I loved the pigmentation of them and that's ALL. They were super chalky which made them clumpy and creased asap. I tried them with 4 different base/primer which were ud primer potion, too faced eye shadow insurance, mac paint pot in painterly, and the elf one it came with. They all didn't have any effect on them. I personally will never try these again.

I got this as a gift and really like it. The liner was okay... Difficult to use, but not unmanageable. However.. I LOVE the shadows!
The colors are well pigmented, beautiful, the mattes are matte, the shimmery ones... SUPER shimmery! I love them! The primer was alright. I didn't like the applicator at all... And it only came with one. My only real complaint is the applicator.
Lovely! I can't wait to get another one!

I was excited for this palette, the primer was okay it could have been better... and the eyeliner also, the problem was the shades, they were not what i expected they fade away way to quickly and i tried 4 different primers, too much fall out also, and way too shimmery.

I got this in smoky because it can be worn naturally as well. This is a great set for beginners, having the step by step guide is nice if you are not the experimental type. The price is great and I appreciate that they included an eye primer and eyeliner pencil. The shadow pigmentation is beautiful and they blend well. I didn't use the applicator and usually don't but I'm glad they always include one just in case. Though it's not overly large I don't believe it can be carried in a clutch but a purse rather just in case you need to carry it with you.

I love the packaging and loved that you get great color for such an affordable price. My favorite beauty book is the natural eye set and I've had it for over a year and it is still my go to natural eye palette. Since I have oily eyelids, I do need to use the primer in order to get long lasting wear of these eye shadows. Overall I love this product and have recommended them to my friends.

I received this as a gift from my mom. I'm a very simple girl leaning towards a more natural, simple appearance. As a college student, it's hard to wake up in the morning to put on makeup when all I want to do is sleep in. With this palette, I just need a few simple swipes and I'm good to go!
First off, the primer. I love this primer so much! I already had a full size of it, and was excited to see a mini size in the palette. It helps my eyeshadow stay in place all day, and you only need a little bit. It works better than any other eye primer I've tried.
Next, the eyeliner. While it's a nice addition, it has very little pigmentation and is very hard to apply. It hurts going on, but I'm willing to let that slide as I'm using this palette for mainly the eyeshadows. I don't recommend the eyeliner.
Finally, the eyeshadows. Some ELF eyeshadows can be hits and misses, but these are all hits in this palette! I love every single shadow. It's easy to go from natural to smokey in just one swipe. I love the upper left corner and lower left corner shadows the best.
Overall, I recommend this palette for anyone who wants to simplify their makeup routine for only a few dollars.
