Using the Eyeshadow Brush, apply the Base color all over the eyelid up to the browbone. Follow by sweeping on the Lid color all over the eyelid to shade. Next apply the Crease color in the crease of the eye where the lid meets the browbone to contour. Finish by adding the Line color around the lash line and outer corner of the eye to define and blend in edges.

I bought this for an everyday look and I really love these colours, extremely pigmented. I found the Base and Crease colour to be extremely creamy. The Lid and Line colour were chalky. I'm still a novice when it comes to doing a smoky eye, so I'm not finding they blend easily but that may be due to technique as opposed to the product. However, because the base and crease are such lovely colours, I'm really happy with this eyeshadow set. The brush provided sheds a lot, which is disappointing because I wanted another eyeshadow brush and thought this would be killing to birds with one stone. I would love to try the smoky set.

I absolutely love this quad. The lightest color can be a little powdery, but that doesn't bother me. I have this in smoky and it is absolutely perfect. I love how it tells you where to put each color, and in the end, it looks professional!!

I have Party Purple; Tantalizing Taupe; Beautiful Browns; and Happy Hour (eggplant, taupe, pink, and vanilla). There is a mix of shimmer and almost matte colors. Some of the colors are a bit powdery, but nothing that would keep me from using them. The combination of shades are good, and at my local store there were several to choose from. (Additionally there was a blue/teal combo.) I bought mine as individual compacts w/o a brush. The pigmentation is not very intense, but it makes it forgiving to work with.
