Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
This is an interesting product. I originally intended to purchase it in Superstar, but it was sold out so I opted for Diva.
To say that this product is hyper-pigmented would be an understatement. I use a drop literally the size of a pinhead and it's more than enough. I am a professionally trained (now former) MUA and have a lot of tools in my arsenal, so I was easily able to make this product "work", but I could see how many people could get frustrated with the pigmentation of these blushes, particularly the darker shades.
The texture is very creamy and soft... almost velvety, like a primer. I believe this product could easily be used on the lips - and with the lighter two shades, possibly the eyes - because of its smooth texture, blendability, and dense pigmentation.
I put a dot on the back of my hand and use a foundation stippling brush to stipple the product on my cheekbones (never the apples!). I then blend, blend, blend, with my fingertips until I reach the translucency I desire. I finish it off with a little highlighter right on top of my cheekbones (sometimes a cream, sometimes a powder... I mix it up), and a healthy dusting of ELF's HD Powder - which may just be the Holy Grail of all cosmetic products.
The packaging of this item is fantastic and could NOT be better! The "pump" style of cream blushes (or any cream cosmetic for that matter) is my personal preference, primarily due to sanitary reasons, but also because it allows the user to release a small, controlled, amount of the product, so a minimal amount - if any - is wasted.
Now, for my favorite part - after I first applied the product, I thought, "Hmmm... something about this blush is so familiar.." Later that afternoon, I realized what it was - BENETINT! I used to work as a Freelance MUA for Benefit Cosmetics, and Benetint and Moon/High Beam was a typical blush look for me (if I wasn't wearing Coralista or Dallas), and Diva, coupled with the soft pink highlighter I used, exactly duplicated the combination of Benetint and Moon/High Beam... only much, much, cheaper! The staying power is equivalent to that of Benefit's... it is only missing the rose fragrance. :) I did have this on over L'Oreal's Youth Code BB cream and a dusting of ELF's HD Powder, and then topped it with another layer of HD Powder (yes, I use a lot of HD Powder!).
As for the less-than-stellar aspects, I could understand how someone could be frustrated with this product, as its pigments really do pack a punch, and if you're not expecting it I could see how that could be frustrating. Furthermore, if you don't really know what you're doing as far as contouring, blending, etc., or if you don't have a lot of brushes/tools, or if you're not very well experienced with makeup, then this product might not be for you.

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
I got the blush in the shade Diva and I was a little dissapointed. I put the smallest drop on the back of my hand, used my angled brush to apply it, but it just smeared bright neon pink on my cheek. It dried really quickly (didn't flake), so it took some time to try to blend it in my skin. In the end it looked natural and nice but overall it was messy.

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
This is hands down the best blush that I have ever worn. It is so beautiful that i am going to stock up on them when I go to US. I have all the colors and these are so gorgeous!
These are so highly pigmented and creamy that they race up to some high end brands.
Although I have to warn that these are (especially showstopper) not easy to apply. For light application you cn put a small dot of the product at the back of your hand, spread it a little and apply to the face with a stippling brush. You can also use them on your lips. They are a little dying but it is not something you can't solve with a nice lip balm.

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
I tried this product after reading the very positive reviews on PaulaChoice.com/Beautypedia site. I was not disappointed. Great colors, easy to use, unbeatable price. Don't let the small container discourage you. As others have mentioned, you only need a very small amount so it will last a long time. Always use a brush for smoothest application. I work in a high school with no time for touch ups. This cream blush stays fresh all day. Will buy more!

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
I've never tried a creamy blush before and I really like this one. I don't like applying it, but the end result it worth it I think. It looks pretty and more natural than anything powdered in my opinion. I will definitely repurchase.

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
I wanted to try an alternative to powder blush as my skin has gotten very dry into my late 30's. There is a definite learning curve to this one and you will need to experiment with it. It dries very quickly and isn't the easiest to blend which is why I personally use it right after primer and under my powder foundation. This way if I have a little bit of a heavy hand one day it evens it out and looks really nice. I've ordered all of the colors and have received Diva and Showstopper so far. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy Diva. Thought it would be a garish neon pink-and it can be if not sheered out correctly-but as it turns out it's really pretty as a blush and lip stain. Showstopper is a pretty berry color. It can't be stressed enough that you only need to use a pin head size amount of product. This tiny bottle will last a very long time. I'm looking forward to trying all the shades. Definitely recommend giving them a shot.

Comments about elf Cosmetics HD Blush:
So much colour in that little bottle! I bought encore, and it is definitely more reddish pink than the website shows. If I apply very little and blend it out well I can make it work (I am very fair). Looks very natural, like I'm constantly blushing. I will be buying the rest of the colours.
