The bristles are soft and with the flat head which is generous enough without being huge, it is very good at blending in product. Use it after you apply your foundation to blend away any lines, or soften the edges on blush, bronzer, etc. It both spot cleans and shampoos well with no shedding.

I absolutely love this brush! i was hesitant to try it because i had been hooked on the MAC brush and didnt want to "downgrade" but i wish i would have bought it sooner i will never go back to spending $30-$50 on a brush!

It distributes powder very lightly, so if you like a little more setting like me, the complexion brush is better.

The only minor problem I had with this brush is that the brush came alittle loose from the brush handle. Obviously an easy fix with glue.
