Shake the Natural Mineral Booster back and forth to get excess powder loose into the tray. Gently glide over the powder with the Kabuki Brush to grab the powder, bring your brush to the cap to work in the powder to the brush, then tap off any excess. Apply to areas of the face that need coverage by working into the skin in a circular motion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect lightweight powder I have medium to light skin and have been using the sheer booster for a long time. It is the perfect color for me, but I can see where it could be too dark for a very light complexion. (E.L.F. should really make a completely light or translucent color for those gals.) It mattes my skin perfectly where it's oily, but does not dry out my dry-ish cheeks, and my skin stays matte for many hours. It's also lightweight enough that, when a little oil breaks through, you can do a quick blot and re-apply without it looking cakey. I also love the healthy ingredients and no parabens. SO WHERE IS THE SHEER COLOR???? Please tell me you have not DC'd it. I left Avon for two reasons: they lied about not testing on animals, and they DC'd everything. Please bring back the sheer color and add a light one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't imagine my makeup without it!!! I love the mineral booster is the perfect end for my daily makeup, and party makeup. It gives you a smooth velvety finish!I have normal to oily skin and when I apply this in the morning I dont worry that much about my skin, I might need to retouch maybe at noon, but that will be it. Versus not using it and having oily sking 2 hours later. You'll notice the difference!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great w/oily skin & before applying foundation I actually got this in one of my Beauty Bundles. I am extremely fair skinned (think Snow White, lol) so I really didn't think this color would work for me - the Sheer still looked too dark for me. And as a "finishing powder", it really didn't work for me. It just had a little too much color to it.So I have begun using it in a different way. I moisturize, put on my primer, and then my first step is to buff the Mineral Booster all over my face. From there, I will do my mineral foundation (in my correct color) and my concealer. Then I carry on with my normal makeup, and top it all off with a little HD Finishing Powder. It works beautifully! This way it doesn't make my face a weird color, it actually helps my mineral foundation give me fuller coverage than it does by itself, AND it helps absorb my excess oil - which helps my makeup stay put longer.TL;DR - Even if this isn't the right color for your skin - give it a trial run of using it on your face BEFORE you do your normal makeup. It's a great under foundation booster!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting powder... I purchased this in Simmer. I am fair with yellow undertones. Unfortunately, this has an odd orange/pink tint to it. But it does give a great matte finish. Which held up all day. Now I was so freaked out by the orange/pink cast it left on my jaw line. I was able to finally blend it out with some super fair powder I had on hand. (the first time I used it)Since that initial attempt... I have since cut it with that super fair face powder, I have from Charles Ritz. Which helped greatly. So I am getting to use this Simmer powder. And I am using it last over my face to set everything. But be aware of the tint issues, if you are really fair or have yellow undertones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sheer is tinted & leans very pink I have this in sheer. The product itself is great. It is finely milled, applies nicely to the skin, gives a nice finish, and does a great job of reducing oiliness. Personally, the color didn't work on me. Sheer does not mean colorless, in this case. It does go on sheer, but their is a color tint, and that tint leans very pink. I have very fair skin with neutral undertones, and this was just a little too dark and a few shades too pink. Those with the right skin color and undertone will find this a great powder, though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from would like to try again but... So, I already know the tinted will be 20 shades too dark and shimmer doesn't work for me with oily skin so since I have rosacea I ordered the yellow. Dk what I was thinking. Way too fair for that. Total waste. :( would like to try again of a new shade comes out or lack of shade altogether.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sheer Booster I read amazing reviews and watched several dozen videos on Youtube with people raving about this product. I am very fair-skinned and purchased the SHEER because it is said to be colorless and essential for folks with oily skin, which I have in abundance. The first time I used it to set my foundation instead of my Rimmel Stay Matte powder...I nearly cried. The Mineral Booster made my face orange. I looked like a self-tanner gone horribly wrong--Even baby powder on top didn't cover up the horrible tint on my face.Without time start all over, I went to work wearing it. Th I will never purchase again. I will gift it to someone else. This was a complete waste for me. So disappointed. This is NOT for someone with fair skin.
