Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I have combination skin and my t-zone gets very oily when I wear foundation, so I wanted something to control shine but that wouldn't be a heavy powder. This product does just that. It eliminates the shine on my nose without feely heavy or getting cakey. One problem I have with it is that the shine does come back, so I have to reaply. Also, if I try using this when my face isn't oily, it does leave a whitish powdery look on my skin. But when used on oily skin it goes on translusent. I use this product frequently and am very happy with it.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
GLITTER WARNING! I bought the Shimmer version in the hopes that I could use it to give my skin a light all-over "glow". Well, it can give a light all-over glow, but will also give you lots of glitter. There are fine particles of glitter bits in this powder, which makes it useless, as far as I am concerned, as an all-over face powder.
However, all hope is not lost for this product. I tried it out just on my cheek bones, and it gives a very pretty light shimmer to highlight the cheek bones, with the added glam of the glitter. So, if you wear it on your cheek bones, you will have the additon of sparkle, which can be nice, depending on the occasion you wear it to. Be warned, though, that you must strategically place this powder on your skin, don't use a brush (I used my fingers to control where it went), and the skin should be slightly moist, not dry and matte, so that the glitter bits will have something to stick and adhere to, or the glitter will fall downwards on the rest of your face.
It also can be used on the décolletage, or chest, and shoulders, for a lovely shimmer and sparkle for a night out. You could even use it as an eyeshadow, use the colors together or separately, whatever you want.
I gave it three stars because it is a nice formulation, texture, etc., you can still use it on the face, although limited, and it can be used elsewhere and in different ways.
I just wish elf would have omitted the glitter bits. If they did that, it would make this powder, fantastic.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I just got Warm and Shimmer. I used to have the original Cool powder, it was okay. But the Warm powder actually seems to make a positive difference in my skin. The big shocker is how much of a winner Shimmer is for me. I though it would just be a dull powder with a bit of silver glitter chunks. I'm so happy to be wrong! It's chock full of soft gold shimmer that isn't too over the top for everyday use! Very pleasantly surprised by this! elf PLEASE keep both of these around! I've got my new favorite everyday powders.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I ordered this in Cool. It doesn't really make much of a difference to my complexion, but when I use it over a liquid foundation it helps control shine and gives me a nice matte finish. Overall, I think that this is a good finishing powder but I wouldn't expect it to be a miracle worker.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I have fair skin and I got this in Cool. I really like the powder. It helps with redness quite a bit but I noticed that it does settle in creases I never knew were on my face! I think primer will help... When elf finally restocks the primer I'll purchase it and see if that helps.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
When I initially tried this I did not like it at all; my face was still red and it looked dusty. But, silly me, I put it on without putting my foundation on first! I don't know what I was thinking... This is definitely to be used after foundation to help with discoloration the foundation didn't quite get (I used this with the flawless finish foundation, it was great!). I have red cheeks, and this definitely helped to minimize that. I haven't tried to use the yellow color under my eyes, but the green helps with redness for sure. I would not recommend this for dry skin because it dries out any oil from your skin or foundation to make a more matte finish.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I'm kind of surprised this gets rave reviews because I was not really impressed. The color is incredibly sheer and I personally didn't notice a difference. I gave it 3 stars, because I suppose it would just be a great overall powder for setting your makeup. I purchased this primarily for the green corrector; however, I tend to have dry skin in the places where my redness is, and this just stuck right to it and made my dryness that much more obvious and didn't really do anything to cover the red. Perhaps this is a better product for those with oilier skin. I dunno. Also, the pink (intended for undereye circles) didn't really do a whole lot either. Overall, I was disappointed, but I will probably use again in the summer when my face has a little more moisture.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Tone Correcting Powder:
I love love love this stuff! This product is very satisfying for those with oily skin, sensitive skin, or blemished skin. If you have tend to have redness on your face, I urge you to try this. I have used it for a couple weeks now and am still happy with the results. It is very lightweight. I am tanned but I got the cool because the green really helps tame the redness I get from blemish spots. And it does help to control my shiny areas for just about the whole day. I went to a holiday party and it lasted for several hours. Plus you can build coverage onto your face. I usually apply this after my foundation and before a face powder.
