I haven't used powder foundation in a while so that may be why I'm not a fan but I find that the coverage is very light, if at all. Almost feels like it's just falling off your face as soon as you put it on. I don't see a difference if I put it on one side of my face and comparing it to the other blank side. I'm sure it would be good if you are just blending tone for daily use and not for nights out.

I just received this in the mail a few days ago and was surprised to discover that the "light" shade was actually too dark for me. All of my concealer and powder products fall into what most cosmetic companies consider to be "light" as opposed to fair/porcelain (the lightest) or medium (one shade darker than light.) Overall, I'm satisfied with the way the product goes on and feels, so I'm excited to place and receive my new order of "fair" in the mail.To give everyone a better idea of my skin color, the other products I use that match my skin are:

I LOVE this foundation. It goes on smoothly and has a very nice finish. I hate the brush though. I use this with the e.l.f studio powder brush and its amazing. My only problem with it is i got the shade Light but i probably should've gotten fair but the foundation blends sooo well that it really doesn't matter that much.

I bought this because of the price, and because hey, who doesn't need another foundation brush. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well the foundation went on my face and how it looked. Very matte, and it lasted all day! I even took a dip in the pool and it stayed on! For the price, I'm in love with this stuff. The brush is very soft, and doesn't shed. I definitely recommend this product.

Although this product is very easy to use, it is also very easy to make a powdery mess. Make sure you cover your shirt because there will most likely be powder on it. The brush isn't great, the bristle hairs come off easy and they are a little rough.
I have acne blemishes and some ugly looking pimples. It is great that I can build coverage. The only draw back is the more I put on the more oily my skin looks. You need to pair this item with some oil blotting sheets. From far away looks great... up close... a little cakey. But I will continue to use because it is hard to find a good covering powder foundation for my skin.

I always use Bare Minerals.. ordered the starter kit of E.L.F from [@], they were having a sale.. This is an O.K. product.. Although its very messy and gets everywhere when you are shaking into the lid.. The brushes are horrible, I had to use my BM brush.. Im not sure if I will be ordering this product again. I may just suck it up and keep purchasing BM.. As of right now, my face feels very itchy and dry after applying the foundation and concealer. I am putting No I would not recommend this to a friend unless they are on a very tight budget in that case I will recommend them to this if no skin problems already.

Caked up in creases and yes the brush sucks! Had to use BM brush from their starter kit to get a decent application. Its a decent color and the portion is generous but its missing a certain something:(.

I purchased the Light collection which does contain the Warm mineral foundation shade. With BM, I normally wear the Medium Beige shade. I do have a true medium skintone. And, based upon the seasons, my undertone does vary from being pink to sometimes peachy.
Unlike my BM foundation, this foundation does come in smaller packaging and does not have a sifter top. However, what makes this foundation stand out more is that it feels more lightweight while I'm wearing it. Also, its shade range is better as well. I find that the Warm shade is a closer match for my complexion than the other shade from BM instead.
Ladies, if you've tried other mineral foundations before and you didn't like them (for whatever reason), I highly recommend trying this one. Also I highly recommend picking up this mineral foundation set in particular. It comes with a fairly decent sized amount of mineral powder foundation and a powder brush as well.
You will simply love the way that this foundation looks and feels on your face!
