I love that the bristles are really soft. I have used both sides and I have been able to wash it successfully. One corner has started to fall apart (a tiny rip), but all sponges do this! It's easy to use and very self-explanatory. I do wish that this came in two sizes or shapes. It should also explain that you get three per order.

After trying this with liquid foundation I have to say I wasn't pleased. Though it might just be the foundation itself working against the sponge. If it had been for a dry product, more than likely it would have been a wonderful product. It's hard to blend with.
I'd recommend this product for dry powders. Probably what this was supposed to replace anyways.

Ive been looking for these kind of sponges for so long & I'm so happy I finally found them here. The sponge side is nice & the fluffy side is amazingly soft. I have a Dior cream to powder foundation & when the sponge it came with was worn out it didnt give me the same soft air brush finish it used to. Ordering these sponges, I was really hoping it could do the job that my dior sponge did & I honestly didnt think it would but it defiantly did! Same great quality as the sponge my foundation came with I'll defiantly be stocking up
About the shedding, it does shed BUT only if your scratching the sponge too hard it only sheds when I scratch it with my nail as did my other sponge, it never actually shed on my face.

I LOVE this sponge! Even coverage and the light side is amazing! My only problem is that when I use the light coverage side, the fluffy stuff sheds onto my face! I guess the other reviewers didn't notice because they have lighter skin, but i'm dark skinned and my face was sprinkles with little white hairs when i applied my makeup!

Otherwise, great product!

I've been looking for sponges, and tried these finally.
Wow!!! How soft! It does not feel like a sponge.

My only sad thing about it is that it is a little too thick to fit in the mineral face powder compact. I'd like to replace those that come in the compact, with these soft ones.

I bought these months ago. Since I was using the last one, I figured I would try washing it with elf brush shampoo. It is bright white!!! The only con is that the light coverage side rubbed off, but I really only use the other side anyway. Very good quality! These are worth the [$] because they last much longer than the average wedge.

These are both good and bad.

I used the "fluffy" side, and my makeup look flawless. I LOVE the way it feels on my skin. I haven't seen any other sponge with this texture.

Here is the problem; washing it. I used 1 drop of the ELF brush shampoo. All of the makeup came off, but so did the "fluffy stuff". As I rubbed my finger over it to remove the makeup it all washed away.

They aren't that expensive, so I may stock up on them just because I know they will not hold up when washed.

I got these as back-up sponges not knowing if I really needed them or not. Turns out I got a foundation that comes with a dual-sided sponge, but it was scratchy on my skin! So I opened these up, and the full coverage side is super soft, the flocked side (for a lighter application) is soft too! One side is for setting powder/ touch-ups, the other side is for those who want more coverage. Perfect! I just hope these hold up during washings to be them even more economical.
