Very good for keeping my eyeshadow on all day! It can reach up to 115 degrees during the Phoenix summer, and my make up is usually melted off by the middle of the day. This did a wonderful job of keeping the majority of eye shadow and eyeliner on. By the end of the day, my crush was still able to compliment me on my eyes, so it's definitley doing something right!

I get it in Sheer
Applies creamy and indeed feels like silk!
Never has it allowed any creasing, which is just amazing.
It holds my shadow strongly all day.
I love the way the light color evens out the tone of my lid, so when I'm ut for a run or something quick I ALWAYS apply this.
Looks very natural on my fair skin.
I haven't tried the Essential eye primer, but I will never have to. I will gladly pay the extra $2 for this formula. Tried and True :)

I love this stuff! It keeps all my eyeshadows and liner looking great ALL night long! Only thing is that when you first get it you should apply by dabing it on your eyelid and blending with your finger. The brush just gives you WAY too much but as it starts to run low you can totally just swipe it on your eyes and go!

Growing tired of my eyeshadow creasing and looking oily after half a day's wear, I went on the prowl for a descent eyelid primer. After much searching, I happened upon e.l.f.'s page and discovered this little miracle (that may be stretching it, but this stuff is great!). I have had great results with this product, and I find that it has much better staying-power when used under e.l.f's Eye Brightener (located on the concealer page).

It is like a lot of other primers I have used recently, liquid primers are not my favorite but I thought I would give it a try. I have alabaster complexion and this came out with an orangish tone that just looked completely fake on my skin. I still use it when I am doing a full eye lid color just because it does help extend the life of my color.
