Shake the Mineral Eyeshadow back and forth to get the excess powder loose into the tray. Gently
glide the powder onto eyelids with the Eyeshadow Brush. Use the lightest shade as your base color and the darker shade to contour. For a more dramatic look, dampen the brush with water and apply powder.

I got this kit in Rosy. The 2 colors are both beautiful...Yes, they are a bit glittery, but they blend well, & you can use them on top of another shadow, or blend in with a matte color. They go on smoothly. Minerals are always a little messy, but I just turn the case over & it sends enough product into the cap to use. The brush here is also fantastic. Doesn't shed & holds minerals well.....Love it & will order another color set. Highly recommend this kit. At this price it's amazing

I know a lot of elf products have a lot of shimmer, BUT HOLY COW. I felt like I was just putting straight up glitter on my face. Hated it. The brush it came with started shedding the moment it touched my face. One of the lids of the eyeshadow pot won't close. Just a total nightmare.

I have tried dozens of mineral eyeshadows and was always disappointed. Found these decided to give them a try and FINALLY a good shadow.
NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL! these are great I have them in all 3 sets. Nude, Rosy & earthy so lightweight, great pigments and last all day. However I always use a primer so that would be my only suggestion to get the perfect look.

Well, I have to tell you, I got the romantics set, and I was more excited to get the "sweet", which is pictured as a light, pretty, girly pink. The "sassy" one was jus a simple bronzey shade based on the swatches I saw. Well, when I bouht this off their site, I was surprised that I fell head over HEELS for "sassy"!! It's a gorgeous bronze with this beautiful pearly irridescence to it, while sweet is a shimmery light pink that had a really sheer application. Pigmentation isn't the best, I mean, they're about two bux for each shadow when you buy them in a set, so I mean you can't have great pigmentation in addition to the price, the fact that it's mineral, that the colors are GORGEOUS, that there's a great color selection...
...I could go on and ON! You can tell by the length of this review that I could!(; It doesn't crease, provided that I use e.l.f.'s essential primer, and it lasts me throughout the school day... If you do NOT like shimmery shadows, then I would not suggest buying any one of these sets. They do have matte shadows, but there aren't any in the sets. e.l.f., you continue to amaze me!!! *MAKE MORE SHADES!!!!*

I don't wear a lot of eye shadows because they tend to crease and clump in the center of my eye lid but I didn't have that problem with this!
It was easy to apply as well as remove. I was also able to take these colors from day to evening by applying a little more. I ended up loving this so much that I bought my mom one too(;

The eyeshadow pots are small. That having been said they are very easy to slip in your purse or bag and just go.
The color is very highly pigmented so a little goes a long way.
I didn't expect the brush to be so good but it was. It's a pro eye shadow brush. I love the kit and the price is the cheapest you will find for mineral makeup.

%100 Mineral and I can always find this stuff reasonably priced in the clearance! I have the Romantics and Earthy sets. Both have lovely pigmentation, but I prefer the Romantics because Earthy is too dark for my fair skin. I think it would be suitable for an evening look or for darker skin tones.
I put Sassy on my crease, Sweet as a highlight, and Baked Brown (from their pigmented eyeshadow collection) on my lid, and I dab my brush wet for Sassy and Baked Brown. The result is lovely as a daytime look.
Be wary that it does tend to fade after a few hours if you don't apply it wet and it will pile up a little on the crease. If you don't mind re-applying it once or twice or blending the excess on the crease with your finger then I think it's fine.

I LOVE these shadows! I Bought all three packages and fell in love! You do have to wear these wet but I put my makeup on at 9am and it was still PERFECT at 10pm these have amazing staying power wet. Also the colors are beautiful the packaging is so sleek and pretty. very impressed!
