I've been using the product for about 6 weeks and I will not buy it again. I have been using mineral make up for nearly a decade. The economy forced me to seek less expensive brands than my beloved "BE". I purchased this item because my fair skin tone is tough to match and 4 shades seemed like a good idea. My skin is normal to dry. I'm in my late 40s. No history of acne or oily skin. Some very fine wrinkles, but overall I have good skin that is pretty even. It took about a week for my skin to get used to the foundation. I felt itchy and my face felt like it would crack it was so dry. The product is very dusty (yes, I realize this is a powder foundation) and difficult to get to stay on the brush. I did a touch up one day while wearing a black sweater and more my sweater was a mess afterwards. At the end of the day the foundation has an very powdery look that's not attractive. I found that if I apply twice as much moisturizer the foundation doesn't seem as powdery and stays on better. But I can still tell it's there because I still feel dry and crispy. If you have super oily skin this might be a good product for you. I'm going back to BE.

Just for reference I am NW20 in mac foundations and I bought this in the shade light. I personally use all of the colors together. I removed the flower shaped sifter and I just mix all four shades into the cap and apply it with the elf powder brush. when swatched individually i am closest to the fair shade, so that would probably be the best concealer shade for me. hope that is useful information if you are close to my skin tone. i would describe these foundations as light coverage, but buildable. i like them because they allow my skin to breathe and i don't feel like i have a mask on my skin. if you have a lot of discoloration you might want to consider using a color corrector first and a concealer, as i said these are light coverage foundations.

This is a great product. If you slight pigmentation issues this is a quick fix. Although it is not full coverage, it is quick coverage for on-the-go. Just powder/smooth some on. Add a little blush and mascara...and you will look fresh. My ELF routine from now on: I use the foundation face primer. A light layer of the liquid foundation. A bit of the mineral powder foundation on top of that. And a tad bit of the High Definition Powder. My combo, mild acne skin, has never felt or looked better. AND I AM 37!!! I seriously look about 27. Nothing settles in creases or cakes on. All the products smell nice and are light. As good as or better than MAC products. *WOW* Would like to share this will every Woman I come in contact with. SERIOUSLY, no more drugstore cosmetics, no more high end department store makeup for me. Great containers too for all this makeup. I LOVE ELF!!!

When I received my product, I was so anxious that I tried it immediately. It took some time for me to get the product into the lid so that I could blend. Now that the time consuming part was out of the way, I tried my product. I was amazed at how well it blended and how nice it looked on my skin. I will buy this product again, but will try to find a different container to put it in.

This is a great idea for mineral foundation. Because you get 4 shades in one, anyone can blend the perfect tone for their skin. One of the draw backs for me is that I'm fair with pink undertones. This foundation has a lot of yellows to it, so I had to mix a bit of mineral blush to match my tone. This is great for light coverage and leaves your skin soft looking. If you have oily skin, this will not last long without some sort of setting spray.

I found my holy grail foundation! i have very wierd skin,dry in some places and greasy in others. My skin normally can only take liquid foundation for a week then i switch to a mineral foundation to bring balance back to my skin. I have not switched back to liquid foundation since i bought this!! (about a month ago) i love that the medium has a "honey gold" section because most medium skin tones are yellow based so its great to be able to have that option! I use this DAILY! and its awesome to build up for night time(going out) i put on my concealor first then stipple the mineral foundation on with the studio flat brush to set,then buff! dont have to retouch at all. i just use a blotting sheet throughout the day,and it looks like i just applied my makeup! I just bought two more,one in light and another in medium. try it,you won't regret it! :)

Only ok...it worked great and was a fabulous idea...not a good rating simply because after 2 weeks of buying it..it busted open completely and ruined everything. NOT worth [$]

I really like this product! It is a great buy, and I like it as much or more than my bare minerals. I bought it because i love elf products, because the makeup is great, and it is good because the prices are arn't outrages like most makeup! i was almost out of bare minerals, and i decided that i would try somthing less expensive to see if i could buy that instead, because bare minerals is just to expensive to for a teenager that is too young to have a job. I mainly use powderd foundation on days that i just want to give my skin a break. This is great for that! But, you need a kabuki brush to get full coverage. It also needs better packaging! That sifter has no use to me but to keep extra product from coming out when i have the lid closed, and it is really hard to get enough product if you use it.

I was so excited to buy this product, because i heard a lot about it. But as soon as i got it, i applied it and it made my face bout 3-4 shades darker than it is. As soon as i put it on, it stayed in the first place where my brush toushed my face. It was very hard to blend, and VERY messy. It also made my face look very cakey. I probably wouldn't buy this product agian. :(
