Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Happy I Bought it! I have purchased several pots of the loose mineral version. I do like it,but anything that is in loose form is messy to use, as the powder will have a tendency to fly all over. So, after seeing that a pressed mineral foundation was released, I was super excited.I happen to have sensitive, combination-to-oily, acne prone skin. Also i do use Retin A on my face as well. I know that this foundation has mineral oil in it, which is normally something that individuals with my skintype avoid using any products with this ingredient in it at all. However, I decided to take a chance in buying it anyway. This foundation has a velvety feel to it, as it isn't chalky at all. It provides light-to-medium (buildable coverage). I do not use the sponge applicator thst comes with it, instead I use a brush to apply it with, which works just fine. Now, i do adhere to a very strict cleansing routine that involves making sure that all of my makeup is thoroughly removed from my face at night, before apply Retin A to it. As a result of such, i have not experienced any breakouts from this powder foundation at all. It goes on smoothly, provides good enough coverage for me, and i do find it to last at least 5 hours or so, before I start to see that it does need re-touching.I do believe that this is a foundation is worth trying no matter what your skintype is. Definitely, don't let the fact that it has mineral oil in it scare you away. Now, when it comes to picking the right shade match, that is probably the hardest thing when it comes to finding the perfect color for your skintone. Therefore, you really have to do your best at picking out a shade that looks closest to your skintone. As, the shade that i got which is Warm, actually appears more warmer in tone on the website than it does in person. But, i am totally fine with it, as it isn't that big of a difference from my actual skintone.Overall, I really do like this foundation very much and I definitely do plan to buy more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from coverage but light! I am very fair, usually the lightest colour foundations are too dark even most of elf's ivory and porcelain colours are too dark. However the fair colour works for me and gives great coverage, but not cakey or heavy!?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mineral foundation powder- soft light coverage I bought this in Warm (NC25-30). ?It has very light/ sheer/sheen coverage and does not last long. ?I am constantly repatting every 2-3 hours. ?I tried it on either bare moisturized face, with primer, ?bb cream or mineral foundation under it and it still did not hold up well either wall. ?If you have clear skin, it is great for soft sheen coverage but it did not cover a single acne spots at all. ?Warm is a little too warm for my tone so maybe it oxidated. ?Still deciding on a lighter color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought these Pressed mineral powders in Almond,Dark, and Deep and the color are not as shown. I thought that ELF had finally brought make up for dark skinned women of color but I guess not, truelly disappointed. The powders do not look anything like the picture shows way too light for my complexion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I bought this in Tan,thinking that it would be a good summer color. But not so much. It's pretty much my normal skin color and I am by no means considered "Tan". Because this is one of your "pricier" items the color issue is an issue. We need more accurate swatches, color names, and color descriptionsThat issue aside, this is a great powder foundation. It has great coverage without cakiness. I have EXTREMELY oily skin and it stays in lace very well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I regret buying this product. I just recently got it in the color warm and I am so disappointed. Its EXTREMELY cakey! I was hoping it would be similar to BareMinerals pressed foundation buts it is not even close. It made my skin feel stiff and dry. Also, I have pretty dry skin right now and it held onto my dry patches. I am sure it would be better for someone with oily skin. One thing I did like was the color! I am really tan right now so I got it in Warm. Usually e.l.f face colors are orange but this was really close to my skin tone (I wear R270 Golden Medium in BareMinerals foundation). It was a little light but I was impressed with that part.?
