I got this Mineral Booster in Corrective Yellow to use on top of my E.L.F. mineral foundation. I'm brown skinned and my foundation color can make my skin look a little pale or ashy and this corrective yellow livens it right back up! Then when I do a setting spray on top it's more perfect! I have acne prone sensitive AND oily skin and this helps control the oil and doesn't break me out. Perfect for those who might find their powder foundation matches but makes them a little pale.

This is my newest make-up routine that I will probably use for everyday wear now. I use the Elf Mineral Primer then the Tinted SPF moisturizer in almond then I brush on the sheer booster powder. This works perfect for me. I usually get oily throughout the day especially my forehead area and since I have been using this my skin looks the same when I come in 12 hrs later as when I left in the morning. I am loving this. I'm not a make-up person so this gives me what I'm looking for.

I absolutely love this booster! I hadnt used any of elfs mineral line before. I'm almost the the end of the small booster. Just about to buy a couple of the larger ones. It's great for controlling shine! I also have mild acne and after several weeks of use my skin is actual starting to clear up and have a more even tone :) I put this on right after my moisturizer and then use my foundation only on problem areas that need a little concealing, works great! Leaves a vey nice finish without looking to made up :) love! Thanks elf for surprising me again and keep creating amazing products!

I have fairly oily skin, and the liquid foundation I was using just wasn't cutting it. In order to see if powder would be the way to go I decided to buy this booster before dropping more money on a foundation. I bought the small sheer option.

It was VERY messy coming out of the container which I'd read about but unfortunately was not prepared for! Luckily, after I got myself cleaned up, it went on my skin very easily. I usually have to blot consistently all day, but today I haven't had to do so! I put the makeup on at 6:45 AM. It's 2 PM now, and I've only had to blot my face ONCE.

I'll probably buy it again--and this time I'll be prepared when I open it up for the first time!

So got this stuff to use over my liquid foundation or to just have a light coverage on a regular makeup free day. I've used it 2 times now and I like it. Its really light and easy to put on.

Sheer::.
My skin is combination skin, oily and normal.
Didnt settle into the small lines like some powders and some liquids. Gave me a more even coverage but not cakey. looked natural (showing some flaws like freckles ect.)

Shimmer::.
Pretty much same thing but with some light shimmer. Perfect for a light glow in the spring and summer and to use for highlight. I got excited and used it on my wet hair. once dried had a light shimmer which was pretty.

oh another plus gave my skin a softer feeling. :)

I will prob buy this product again.

I liked this product especially in the spring/fall when it is not as humid and my skins needs a little extra moisture. I feel the product did what it promised and I received a good amount for the price. I don't go through lots of make up so I like being able to purchase in smaller quantities.

I bought mine in corrective yellow. It controls redness, shine, and makes my skin so soft and smooth. The best thing though is that it doesn't even feel like you're wearing makeup since it's so light!

I bought this because I wanted a powder to set my foundation, but I found that no matter how much I moisturized, this really dried out my skin. Also, if you're medium skin tone or darker, go for the tinted, it blends into your skin better and doesn't make you look ashy. And I recieved the shimmer one in my package by mistake and I like it, and for some reason it doesn't dry my face out like the tinted and sheer. It adds a very nice sheen. Only thing wrong with it is it has this purple sheen to it and I dont know where it comes from! Like you can clearly see purple on the lid and slightly on your face after you blend it in.
Overall, buy this if you have oily skin. Stay away if you have dry skin. It does make your face look good from far away, but doesn't really give a great "airbrushed" effect.

So when my package came from elf I was really excited. I opened up everything and it all looked great except for when i got to this product. At first i thought the order had been mixed up and i had received a mineral eye shadow instead. Nope, there it was, about 2 cm thick. Did anyone notice that in the video, the saleslady never turns the product sideways? that is because if she did people would see that there is nothing there. I liked the product itself and it was a pretty good deal but i use yellow corrective powder on a daily basis and this will not last me, so I think im going to go back to my other brand. we'll see. In general the actual product was great so if u dont need alot then this is a great buy.
