I love this brush! I am a beginner with makeup and sometimes when my face is a little oily or shiny, I use this brush with the tone correcting powder and it works great! It's very inexpensive and perfect for beginners.

This was one of the first brushes I ever used. I had no idea whatb to do with it at the time, but once I really figured out what to use it for, I fell in love. It has lasted me for around a year (I clean it often). The only issue that I have had it that it sheds a bit. its not often and its not that much so, for me, that is not a biggie. I reccomend to try this!

This brush is the worst brush I have ever purchased. I usually LOVE elf brushes but not this one. The hairs are unusually long and it sheds so much! Also, the bristles are very scratchy with makes this brush unusable to me.

I've used this brush twice, and both times it's shed like crazy.
I just washed it today and lost half the bristles - didn't have that issue with my other brushes.
After using it once, the handle broke, so I had to superglue it on.
This is an inferior brush.

This was a brush that I thought would be great for me. Unfortunately the little head broke off in two weeks! The bristles started to clump together and the hairs fell off. I love ELF but this is one product I would not recommend.

I personally am not impressed by this brush. I like the look of it, thats it. I havent used it yet only because it has a really weird smell that none of my other e.l.f brushes have. Maybe because its made from something else but I dont like it.

I got this brush about 6 months ago. When I first opened the package the bristles were smushed in the middle. When I washed this brush it smelled like burnt hair and then the barrel came off of the handle. Even after all of this I still gave the brush a chance and it irritated my skin, it would shed and most of the product that I was using would stay in the brush. I would not even recommend this to people that are even just starting out with makeup and in general I would not recommend the essential line, go with the studio line or the mineral line.
I guess you could say for this line and this brush that you get what you pay for!
