I find these to be the most cheapest durable alternatives to MAC or Z palette's. I love the mirror in this e.l.f palette, but I would LOVE IT EVEN MORE if there was a clear lid instead. I prefer to see what's inside more then to use it for it's mirror (but I can see how for traveling this palette is better with the mirror). It's a great buy though! I'd probably label the top lid to organize rather than go and buy the higher brand names for 10x's more.

I picked this up today, along with a few of the eyeshadow colors to go in it. The colors themselves are fantastic and beautiful, each one with great pigmentation. A light bulb went on that I could also use it to make lipstick and cream concealer palettes. Overall, I prefer white palettes to black ones, but they are very difficult to find. So I love that this comes as a white palette, which of course makes for a much better visual display of color. I made a large palette last year with a rainbow of about 25 lipstick colors, so I am going to get several of these to transfer them into coordinated lip palettes. And I am thrilled to find a nice way to travel with my cream concealers. I couldn't find the pan size listed anywhere, so I measured it to fit 26mm pans.

I really like this palette, and I don't know if anyone else has this complaint, but mine is not magnetic! I put an eyeshadow pan in it and it fell right into my hand when overturned. This was easily remedied using some thin magnetic tape, but I was expecting it to be magnetized.

Small, compact, useful... You can easily check up anytime with this big yet small size mirror. I still do have some even colors in there just in case I go out and can not carry my palette with me, this are colors I can add to my touch up without making it look like a big difference. Its sleek and smooth looking. Every girl should have this in their purse.

I love that I can carry my favorite colors in this sleek and easy to re-use compact, but the brush/sponge applicator needs replacing, so PLEASE sell refills of the brush, or even additional brush accessories. I would definitely pay money for them!

i didnt use this exactly for its intended purpose, as i had eyeshadow pans i already wanted to use from another magnetic palette. but this in no way diminishes its awesomeness. it has a really big mirror, it closes securely, and if you want to fit more shadows in it you can easily remove the plastic divider with pliers. it also feels nice and sturdy. plus the price is phenomenal. i have one for everyday eyeshadow, but i'm very tempted to get one for going out, too.

I will preface this by saying that I didn't buy directly from ELF, but from a retail store, so that may affect why I got the product in the condition it was in.
There was something sticky, maybe some sort of glue, in and around the latch of the compact. It came off with rubbing alcohol and some q-tips, but the product would have gotten 5 stars instead of 4 if I hadn't had to take the time to clean it beforehand.
Otherwise, now that it is clean, the product is working beautifully!
