I like this product. I got Glamorous, it does flake a bit down onto your face. That can be annoying but it's not a deal breaker. It goes on very easily and the pigment is great!

I have these in Wild, Elegant and Trendy.
My favorite is Trendy, because it's not too bright, not too dark. I find the wild is a bit dark, and unless you blend it really well, it looks tacky. Elegant gives a really sweet look, but you have to apply a few coats before it really shows up. UNLESS YOU USE THE LOCK & SEAL!
Definitely use a primer under these so it won't crease or fade. That's the trick. The Lock and Seal is great for keeping this on all day too.
I will definitely get more of these colors, but I like trendy the most because it's sweet, and gives the perfect shimmery accent to my eyes. I have brown eyes a medium tan complexion.

I bought this in Elegant and I LOVE it! Its perfect for the brow bone and the corners of your eyes. It lasted longer than expected. I will definitely be trying other colors but if your looking for a highlighter for the brow bone, or a color to help our eyes really pop..this is the color you want!!

Today I got my biggest ELF haul ever. Wow, I have makeup all over the place, and swatches all over my inner forearm and back of my hand.
To begin, I got the 10 free mineral eyeshadows with my order. Thank you ELF for letting us pick our own kind and color. I bought four of the Loose Mineral Shadows and six of the Pressed. I was not really impressed with the Pressed (see my review under those).
The four Loose that I got are: Elegant and Mysterious (light colors), and Socialite and Partier (dark colors). Elegant is a really pretty highlighting color and probably the shimmeriest of them all. But it is not glittery. I will probably wear this one very often. The Mysterious looks semi-dark in the jar but it goes on as a really light purple; in fact I had to use quite a bit to make it stand out. Partier is a very dark blue which I will have to use with a very light hand. Socialite is a really pretty greyish-brown which I like a lot, even on my fair skin.
I've had them on the back of my hand for about an hour now, and they are still going strong. You still see a little bit of shimmer but thankfully most of it has worn off. (We older ladies don't need to look too sparkly.)
I think if I ever get these used up I would probably buy them again. For one buck, you can't beat 'em.
All that said, yes, loose mineral makeup is very messy. But with some practice, you can apply it without too much trouble.

I bought these in Flirty, Beachy and Glamorous. I like them, I really do. The pigmentation is deep and beautiful and it blends easily.
Unfortunately, it does crease very easily and it does begin to fade during the day. It is not *anywhere* near as bad as the eyeliner, though. I keep my brush with me and periodically blend in the creases when I can. I can deal with that a lot better than running and disappearing eyeliner.
All in all, despite the cons, I think I will buy more colors in the future.
By the way, this *is* a mineral makeup, and mineral makeup is messy. You just gotta be careful and use tissues. If that sounds like a hassle you'll probably want to go with pressed powders or creams instead.

These are extremely messy and glittery. I can't wear these anywhere without looking like a disco ball, with all the sparkly fallout. Also, it takes extreme caution to not drop it anywhere or spill it. They are nice colours but I don't like them. If I learn how to press them I might like them better.

This is a good product. For me it's not the best but it is very pigmented. But some of the glittery shades have chunks of glitter in them. Which I don't like. They have fall outs too. This product is okay foir the price but... Not the best from ELF.

I have quite a few of these, and I don't think these are worth all the hype behind them. They're okay, but they don't last all day or have great pigmentation. Also, I think the chunks of glitter are too large for everyday looks. I do like these, I just don't think they're amazing.
