I originally purchased this product because of the price-point, adn that E.L.F. products have a lot of rave reviews behind them.

I was looking for something that I could use on a daily basis without breaking the bank.

This purchase was a fail. It would not grab my eyeshadows (both pressed and loose) and by the end of the 2nd hour, it had creased (I do not have oily lids either!).

I think I'm going to stick with my $10 TSC primer, because this one doesn't work for me.

I have sensitive eyes and skin, so when my sister recommended this primer to me I was skeptical. I have never been able to use "cheap" cosmetics so I have been using a MUCH more expensive eyeshadow primer. I finally decided to try this primer and I'm so glad I did! It doesn't bother my eyes at all and its actually much easier to apply than my other brand. Plus - you can't beat the price! I highly recommend this to anyone- especially those with sensitive skin/eyes. It turns out inexpensive doesn't always mean "cheap"... thanks ELF!

I bought this to see if it would help my eyeshadow stand out better. I'm not sure how well it works on that (I think my eyeshadow might just have bad pigmentation), but it really helps the eyeshadow look smooth and it doesn't crease! My eye makeup always melts really bad, but with the primer it lasts perfectly all day. I'll never wear eyeshadow without it again.

This is the best primer I own! Since I tried this primer about a year ago I have not used anything else! I use this product in sheer but I am curious to try the other colors as well. This product works really well- it keeps my shadow on all day long and it helps my shadows go on more smoothly. It also lasts a long time, especially if you depot it. This is by far my favorite product from elf, and as long as they keep making it I will always repurchase it and will never use another primer again!!

I don't tend to use a lot of eyeshadow because of my oily eyelids. However, I had never tried using an eyelid primer. I really like this one--and it was easy for me to go ahead and give it a try because of the price. :) I got it in Sheer and mine wasn't clumpy at all... Maybe other people got a bad batch? I also noticed that it keeps my pencil eyeliner from smudging to my top lid! I love it!

I'm reviewing Champagne.

There is a hint of sparkle in this Essential formula (I'm pretty sure all the shades), so if you're not a fan I suggest buying the Mineral formula.

I LOVE using this shade for my darker evening/autumn looks.
It looks a nice and natural color on my light skin.
I haven't noticed any creasing, and it holds my shadow for a long time.
I love it!

I bought sheer, but it comes out a milky color and its a little thick but it never creases, never smudges and keeps great for hourssssssssssss. I have no complaints and its a dollar!

I'm rather surprised that the only other review of this product is so negative! I mean, it's not like this is going to glue your eyeshadow to your lids, but it works just fine. The texture is strange, and there are sparkles, but none of that affects the performance. This may just be my favorite elf product so far--it keeps my eyeshadow from creasing all day, and I have very oily lids!

I love elf products as much as the next girl who loves a goody buy, but i was disappointed in this product. When first pulling out the applicator it already looked as if product had dried around the top which made me question how old it was. But I continued to try only to see that the product would leave a flaky, sparkly look to my eyes that resembles limestone. My eyeshadow didnt blend in at all, the flakes still showed through even the darkest plums. So as you can guess the product met my trashcan before the days end.

I love elf products, especially their eyeshadows, however this product I wouldn't even spend a penny on! it made my skin look crackly and gross. I usually use regular foundation before eyeshadow to set it. the foundation I use it a lot thicker than this primer and for that thick foundation to not make me appear crackly says seething if a thin coat of this primer does the opposite.
