I use this wonderful spray cleaner each day after applying makeup. When I read about it online, I figured I'd give it a shot because it was inexpensive but didn't expect much. I am wowed by this product. I can't see how I can do without it now! It's exceptional quality. My foundation brush doesn't get as clean as the others, but I expect that, given the fact that it's foundation. This stuff is a must for every makeup bag.

After using this product, my brushes look brand new and are softer then ever! Its affordable and works great!
I do wish it came in a larger size though.

E.L.F.'s Daily Brush Cleaner is just that--for 'daily' spot cleaning. This is to clean a brush that you need to use quickly again, or to maintain between shampooing. Spray it directly onto the bristles when cleaning a cream product, and then 'buff' the bristles gently on a textured towel (lint-free). Clean a brush how you use it, gently buffing the brush head (w/o splaying the bristles) across a cloth. Generally, spraying a cloth with the Cleaner and then buffing the brush head into the sprayed cloth works well, and dries the quickest.

Since this product is to maintain brushes in-between shampooing them. It does not replace shampooing. If your brushes are loaded with 'gunk' (read: old product, dead skin particles, rancid facial oils, etc. all mixed together, dried and accumulated over weeks, or months...) don't expect anything but a mess from this product. You need multiple shampoo attempts, with very clear rinsing in-between shampoos to get that kind of 'gunk' out.

Also, if you want to clean a foundation brush that is saturated with foundation, then this product would be pretty useless. Again, that is a job for shampoo and water.

I do wish this came in a larger bottle, and as some other reviews have stated the smell could be lighter, though I do not find it offensive. Most solvent based products smell strong by nature, and need some sort of scent to mask the smell. It would be nice to have a larger bottle with a flip top to pour the product into a small container to dip brushes in that need cream or liquid products 'dissolved' from the bristles. The benefit is that brushes dry quicker and are 'sanitized' by this method of cleaning.

cleans brushes well, great for last minute hangouts and school fashion shows when having to mixing different powders.

I really love this product! I clean my brushes after each makeup application and leaves my brushes really clean with a nice fresh scent. If only it came in a larger or refillable size...hoping, wishing!

The product smells so bad, so why care if it works. I contemplated throwing the smelling brushes away but it the smell does fade away.

This product is okay, but it didnt get the brushes as clean as I would've hoped, I'm not buying this again, I'm going to stick with my baby shampoo.

I haven't even used this yet and quite frankly, I'm not sure I want to use this on my brushes just because of how horrible it smells. It smells like a combination of burnt plastic and the cleaner we use on our ovens at work. Gross!
