I am a beginner makeup user. I originally had their $1 total face brush ughhh the bristles are soooo rough they hurt my face and really didnt apply powder that well. I got the complexion brush to replace the $1 brush.I am so happy I did this brush is perfect. I used the complexion brush along with the e.l.f. Studio Tone Correcting Powder in shimmer. It picks up a lot of product and all I need is one swipe and covers a lot of area.I also used the brush with my pressed power to set in my liquid foundation and it is so soft and large that you dont need many swipes. Great brush for beginners that dont want to spend $20 on a brush

This has become my absolute fave brush to use every single day. I also have the elf powder brush and i have at least 3 other powder brushes from sonia kashuk but no other applies my elf pressed powder like this does. It picks up a good amount of product and also distributes it across the face very evenly. I always get an airbrushed effect with this brush. OMG it is sooo soft and HUGE, you can easily cover 1 whole side of your face with 2 swipes. This is the nicest brush ever for pressed powders, love love love it!!

Wow. I bought this product to apply loose powder, and it is absolutely perfect. The bristles are so soft and apply the powder evenly all over my face. It's very large, so it does not make that streaky effect that smaller brushes can. Love this!!

I don't wear makeup regularly although I should because I have acne scars and dark circles but I'm quite the lazy type lol. I do on occasion wear bbcream and finish it off with some powder though. I didn't get the minerals foundation powder so mine came with the flat sponge like applicator and I was using that for awhile until I finally realized "Man...This isn't applying evenly at all..." So i decided to get a powder brush. I was about to buy an 8 dollar powder brush thinking "This isn't really worth it since I don't wear makeup that frequently..but at least I know the bristles are definitely soft." And then I stumbled upon the complexion brush from elf. It's only three dollars and it definitely delivers great quality and proves to be sufficient for daily use! The bristles are so soft especially for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. I am definitely going to look into purchasing some of their other brushes. I highly reccommend this brush. It's very soft on your face.
