It's extremely difficult to apply. It has an unnatural orange color to it, so if you get it anywhere that won't be covered with eye shadow then it look terrible. Even though it is considered a "primer", it really doesn't do anything and you would be better off wearing eye shadow plain.

While I have always used elfs eyelid primer , I did not expect to love the sealer as much as I do. I have monolid eyes and eyeliner has always been a problem with smudging. This sealer actually works and I have not come across anything like this of this price. You just have to make sure that it dries really well after applying. As far as the primer goes, the color works well even on my darker skin and does not clump. Highly recommended.

DEFINITELY recommend to ANYONE who wears eyeliner. This helps my eyeliner stay on through anything. No fading or running. I don't really use the primer and I wish they'd just sell the liner setter. This is a top notch product and I'm surprised very few other brands sell this type of thing!!!

I liked it a lot but my only problem with it was that it was not my skin color. It was a little darker but that is okay as the eyeshadow covers it up. Its not a big problem though so I would buy it again!

I have been using this eye primer for years now! I think its about time to write a review eh? I completely adore this primer. You don't need a lot, I just cover my eyelid with one swipe and blend it in with my fingers up to my brow bone and the corners of my eyes, If i plan on adding some shadow under water line, I apply a tiny bit and blend it out well. I love how it really makes all shadows show their true color. For me personally it keeps my eye make up looking fresh all day. Doesn't smudge or crease.
Now for the eyeliner part, not so crazy about that. I tried it a few times, its okay, It does what its suppose to and its a nice way to try different color liners without going out and buying those color liners. I've only tried it with like pressed eyeshadows, and I don't like how it leaves this... weird kind of residue on my shadows, I have no tried it with loose powder or mineral eyeshadows, but I'm getting a few later this week so I'm going to try with that and see if it makes a difference.
But just getting this item for the primer alone is way worth it, especially for the price! You can't beat that!

I bought this and I love it. Its amazing the primer is a lot better then the other primers ive tried and the liner sealer is really a neat concept. I've used both and the liner sealer works amazing for turning everyday eyeshadows into liquid liner. the colors come out really pretty and the primer makes my shadows really vibrant and they stay put no complaints here will deff repurchase !!

I tried to use the liner sealer side once...I don't think I understand how to use it properly because I was not impressed (never used a liner sealer before either).
The primer side is great. I'm not really clear on why it's that shape...I always use a brush or my finger to apply it because I tried putting it straight on once and it was just too much.
I've never noticed any cracking/creasing of my shadow and it seems to blend in well.

The primer on this product is amazing. It is better than laura geller eye primer I was using before. It doesn't crease your make up throughout the day, and it makes your eye shadow look amazing. The liner sealer on the other hand it pretty useless. Doesn't apply well and is only capable of a thick line.
