As my title says, I am a new brush fanatic. I thought I wasn't doing something right because I would get fallout from powder eyeshadows. Then I saw a video made by a make-up artist who used one of these to "whisk" away the dust. I came immediately to E.L.F. to see what they have. After reading the reviews I discovered that I am not the only one who uses this brush for cleaning up. In fact it is the only brush that will do the trick. Yes, it is a magic wand with with a fan brush on the end. Since I'm new to brushes my technique is improving with the others, but I get so much practice with this that I'd have to say my special talent is with this brush, lol.

...I was so excited to try this fan brush. I love Elf's studio line of brushes, they are fantastic. However, this one doesn't live up to expectations! Mine was shipped damaged, the bristles are all out of wack *See photo*. I tried reshaping the product, but that did not work. I've tried using the brush, but it doesn't have the same effect. This brush belongs in with the essential brushes in terms of quality.

I bought this brush with the intent to use with a highlighter or with a bronzer. I was very excited because I do love E.L.F and they're brushes I try first if I am looking for a special use brush before I go out and spend money on a special use brush that is high end. Can't complain about the texture at all. The bristles are extremely soft. However, the fan in my opinion is just a tad to wide and the bristles are to thin and a tad to far apart. I have to pickup a lot of product in order to see that it applies to the skin. Then still continue to pick up more product to get the look. I don't see myself re-purchasing but for awhile will continue to use until I re-purchase a different brand.

I have always been intrigued by the "look" of this fan brush not really realizing the purpose it had. After being educated in its usefulness, I purchased one to try. Well, it doesn't disappoint! You know how when the eyeshadow drops down underneath your eye and you try to wipe it away with your finertips or a tissue? Only to find that then you have eyeshadow then smeared under your eye? This fan brush totally eliminates this problem. I love mine. I use it everyday. It saves me time because I don't have to remove half my makeup to get the eyeshadow out from under my eyes. I use eyeshadows alot as an eyeliner. So, this brush is definately been put to the test!!! I love it!

use it everyday, my touch up tool. i love this thing. sweeps away eyeshadow fallout like a dream. add this to your collection, you wont regret it.

i bought this brush because i thought it was cool at first. i didnt think i was going to use it nearly as much as i do. its fantastic. when applying makeup, i use it for dusting away little particles of eyeshadow. other brushes would push them down and smear them on your cheeks. this picks them up and dusts them away!
i also use it for applying bronzer and blush for a very light look every day. its a great brush to avoid things like makeup smear and heavy application that makes putting on makeup a tedious task. i use it every day.

I was not impressed, at all. It was way too thin and flemsy to effectively sweep away excess powder. Blah !

I use this brush with the Gotta Glow blush and it gives me a perfect, natural, dewy highlight that I adore. If I'm going out somewhere and don't feel like doing a full face of makeup, I use this to highlight, use some mascara, and leave :) I absolutely LOVE this brush and I highly recommend it to anybody interested in highlighting. Mine was bent when I got it, but after washing and conditioning it was back to normal. And it dries fast!
