Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: I added this in my first purchase just to see if it worked. I have very oily skin so after a few hours eyeshadow just slides right off. This product boosts my shadows pigments and holds them on ALL day. I tried mixing it with my liquid foundation. It works great but caused a mild breakout on my forehead. I have an extremely shiny nose. But when I mixed the lock and seal with my powder foundation it held off the shine for half the day! Love this product!

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: First off, I bought this product about a week ago and have been using it everyday. I use it to waterproof my eyeliner (cream liner) on my top lashes and have now tried in the water line as well (Tricky but it worked). I have very watery eyes and literally no eyeliner stays on me. I have paid anywhere from $1 to about $25 for eyeliners, and regardless my tears take them away (and if it isn't from the tears it's from the sweating). This product is applied over my eyeliner with an angled brush and I allow it to dry. It keeps my makeup in place very well. Maybe a little smudging after a whole day (which is extraordinary for me). Additionally I wore eyeliner on my bottom and top lashes and it stayed put after an hour and half workout and a shower. It can be removed by my makeup remover though. Highly, highly recommend this item for waterproofing eyeliner.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: IMO....this is a must have...esp if you have a special occasion you are going to where you want your eyeshadow to last!!! I know I listed this as being a bit sticky....but I have a fixer for that! Once you put your eyes on and before your mascara gently pat the product on your eyes thinly...I have even used on lower lids to lock in my shadow liner...and then with your eyes closed fan them dry for just about 15 sec. Then add a light layer of your eyeshadow on top of the lock n seal. Your eyeshadow will not move until you take it off!!!!! It says you can do on your lips and I have tried it. Works the same and a bit drying but once you put gloss on all bets are off....and I didn't have any real unpleasant flavor or smell on my lips. Get...even if you try it and dont like it, it's not like you are spending bu-ku bux for it.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: I've yet to try this with a mineral eye-shadow, however i've used this product with my 188 palette that i bought off [@]. The colours became SUPER-pigmented and i was in AWE! However, i experienced a bit of creasing, nnetheless, it helped my shadow to stay on all day.

Cons Best Uses Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: I came across this item when making my first purchase. So, I tossed it in my order to see what it would do for my foundation. Putting it to the test, it's done what I hoped it would do. I haven't done a full day of wearing a foundation mixed with it, however the test I did produced the results I was looking for -- converting my current foundations into a long-lasting and wearable foundation without having to spring upwards of $40. I'll certainly be getting more of this.

Cons Best Uses Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: I am in LOVE. I use this as a primer for eyeshadow. How I apply: I put 2-3 drops in the clear mixing pot it comes with, then add the eyeshadow product with the lock and seal, mix them together then apply with either the brush it comes with or favorite eyeshadow brush. I used E.L.F's mineral eyeshadow in golden for the lid, and their single eyeshadow (studio line) in oatmeal for the blender color. The mineral eyeshadow became SO pigmented, it looks beautiful, stayed there ALL day, even after a workout at the gym. This is the best product ever.

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: I use this when I apply my eyecolors and my eyeshaes stay on all day! I am literally impressed with this item and believe me, there are only few elf items that I actually like and this one is 10 out 10! And for the price, it is well worth it! This will be my second time ordering, so pleased with it!

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: i'm in love with this stuff! i have just recently tried primers and honestly i hated them all. this stuff is amazing though, it makes my shadows really pop and look alive. not only that, they last ALL day.. without fading or smudging. its liquidy so it's not sticky on the eyeslids as i've had with other primers. i'm so amazed with this product!!! i just bought it and i wanna buy a ton more :) this is also great for sparkly or shimmering shadows. this really made all the shimmer pop out of the shadow, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments about elf Cosmetics Makeup Lock & Seal: Why hasn't anyone mention that this product can be used on lipstick as well? I use this in order to increase the wear time of my lipsticks. Although they don't last as long as it would if I was using this product on eyeshadow the wear is impressive. What I do is put my lipstick on first then I gently mix 1-2 drops in my hand then transfer it to my lipstick. I use my fingers instead of the brush in order to apply. It sets my color and even my dollar ELF liptick stays a little longer. Maybe 4-5 hours without having to reapply. It will dry out your lips after a while so keep gloss on hand. It works best for matte or cream lipstick. FYI don't put too much because it will cause your lips to bleed. The product will also disappear if you have a heavy lunch.
