I love this brush. It's nothing special, but its a great brush to use everyday, and for the price the quality is good. I have four of them and I use them everyday. They do shed a little bit, but its not terrible. The one strange thing that I have noticed is that they vary slightly in shape. You will not get two of these that look exactly the same, but it's nothing extreme or bad. I highly recommend this brush.

This is my everyday brush. It works really well, it's soft and dense, just like I like them. I actually like this one a lot better than the studio one. A must have!

Not exactly my everyday go-to brush, but I do use it to set my base shadows, sometimes cream shadows, or if I'm adding a bit of water to a shadow then I'll pat it on with this because of its flat shape.

It has soft bristles that shed sometimes...and I like how short the bristles are (for control,) but the flatness of it just makes it weird to handle sometimes.

Nice brush! Its not the best I have had although for the price its pretty good. I got mine free in the april collection and will be ordering another one soon as I have been looking for more eyeshadow brushes but cant find them ANYWHERE for this great price. The bristles are soft so its not itchy or anything, although usually I use a brush that has super straight along the edges (know what I mean??) so it might take some getting used to although the super straight one was my first ever eyeshadow brush so I might be a little stuck on it... lol.

Ps. it looks pretty much exactly like the picture where its puffed out just a little ity bitty tiny bit, as my other super straight one is not so yeah thats what I was talking about if your confused..

i use the brush for my eyeshadow. its amazing and its just one dollar!!!! you really cant bet it. and its soooooo soft its awesome. and if you are ordering elf today buy it. you wont be sorry because i know i dont!

I want to first say that I am a huge fan of most elf products, though they can be hit or miss. I received this brush free with the April Showers promo this month and it's truly the worst brush I've ever owned (and I have purchased brush sets for 5 dollars on Amazon). I am shocked to see all the great reviews but I have had issues with elf before over item consistency, so maybe I just got a bad one. All I know is I washed it when I got it (I wash and dry my brushes properly) and the first time I used it I had brush hairs all over my face. I went to clean them off the brush, thinking it was a fluke, but they were just coming out in my hand. Weird. Threw it out.

I really enjoy this brush. It's soft, and still gets the job done quite well. It's great at really attaching the pigment to itself so it gets a good coating. I haven't found that is sheds much more than any other brush, and I'd but it again if something happened to it.

So, let me explain what I mean by "you get what you pay for," when I took out the brush to use it for the first time the top metalish part fell off. Right off the rest of the brush. I tried to put it back on without success, this made the brush extremely hard to use. When I did try to use it the brush picked up hardly any pigments at all. I was highly disappointed with this e.l.f product. However if you want to splurge pick up one of there more expensive eyeshadow brushes. They work fabulously. This is hard to use, poor quality, and ineffective.

I love this brush so much! It's so soft and picks up a good amount of eyeshadow! No hairs stick out after time, it's extremely soft and good for sensitive eyes. My only con is is that it's not really stiff, so if you're looking for a good flat shader brush that can really dab on color, this might not be the brush for you. This brush is better for swiping on color, so i don't reccomend using it for chalky shadows. If you're looking for a nice, soft, extremely affordable brush that applicates eyeshadow very well, than this is your brush! And i mean, look at the price, amazing quality for no money!

i have had my brush for a little over 6 months now and it has only shed two hairs because they were sticking out from the others and i just pulled them off but i use this like every day
