I got both Posh and voodoo i think i like posh better! since i applied this over a chapstick it didnt last long and wasnt vary true to color i wanted a dark wine but way more of tinted balm ehh i think i'll give it to my niece!

Well I ordered three of these $1 lipsticks in Classy, Charming and Voodoo. I was hoping the pigmentation would have been more saturated and true to color. Though the lipsticks smell nice, the fragrance in these actually irritated the skin on my lips. I would say my favorite color is Voodoo but Charming and Classy really do not complement my skin tone. If the essential lipsticks had better pigmentation and were fragrance free I would totally buy more of them.

This color is very pale so for a fair skinned person my lips looked almost white, like I was dead or something. It's just definitely not a good color choice for anyone with fair skin.

I absolutely love these lipsticks. I own six of them: Fantasy, Posh, Nostalgic, Flirtatious, Classy, and Sociable.
I love that these lipsticks are of average pigmentation... I find that all lipstick errors are made when using lipsticks that are highly pigmented. They give you the color you are looking for without being too overwhelming, and you can build up the color if desired. I find that they last a long time, which is amazing, especially for the price. Flirtatious is my everyday, go-to lipstick. It is a beautiful pink color that goes so well with my skin tone.
My only complaint about these lipsticks is that the packaging is so horrible! I usually just throw whatever lipstick I am wearing that day into my bag so I can re-apply when necessary, but these always end up breaking on me if I do that. I really do wish that they would make the packaging a little more secure, because the lipstick itself really is amazing.

These lipsticks are awesome! I got 3 colors, Captivating, Classy, and Nostalgic. I have a bright, natural, and nude color. These are great, the smell good, and pretty good pigmintation for a dollar. These go on creamy and "moisturizing" but end up drying your lips if you don't put a lipbalm under it. That is really the only problem with this. Everything else is good, but the taste, but who tastes lipstick on purpose? It's a great product that you should try out!!

Intended to use the product for daily wear but upon trying the lipstick in Nostalgic, I was beyond disappointed. It was very hard to apply and did not go on smoothly at all. It was not a very rich color and felt as if I was just attempting to smear an old crayon on my lips. I also got this lipstick and Classy and neither of them are true to color. Nostalgic is more of a cream white and Classy is more subtle.

I normally can't stand lipstick but for a buck I decided to give these a try since I love most of ELF's products. I ordered this in Posh (berry red), Captivating (orange), Voodoo (tomato red), Charming (pink), Seductive (pink-pretty much the same as Charming), and Fantasy (golden dark tan). The only one I kept was Posh. The rest were warm toned and orangey, if that makes any sense. I did really like the smooth buttery texture, light smell, and taste, it's just hard to judge color online. Recommend, will keep trying.
