I've seen some mixed reviews on this, but here are some things to consider:

The online pic is darker than the real deal.

These are supposed to be used as 'transformers' to apply over shadows to give the eye a certain hue. That's why there's a light gree/beige/pink/blue.

They are sheer/translucent-ish shades that allow for the other shades beneath to still be somewhat seen.

They are very lightweight and have a bit of shine to them. Not shimmer, but shine.
This I LOVE because I can use it on my brow bone and inner eye and even below my bottom lashes to give my eye a nice 'pick-me-up' and not have it look too shiny.

I just wish that a bit more of a matte finish would be an option as well as this version.

I love the packaging and the mirror! Very sleek.
The brushes that come with it don't really work for my techniques.
I like that it comes in the four different colors for sweeping over looks with a general color. I can definitely tell which color I have used.
I love that it softens harsh lines between shadows and gives an extra shine. Sometimes it is a bit too shiny. I wish there was a matte palette.
I can also use this as a highlighter for my inner corner, brow, lid, or even a bit underneath my eye to give it a great pop!
It is very sheer, but I don't notice that I have ever had to put more than 2 sweeps to get a great 'transformation.' I will only use more if I'm using it for a certain area to get a lot of shine. (Which it's not really intended for, but I LOVE the pastel colors!)

Oh boy! I love this! I use this often, and it truly is awesome! I use it over ELF's cream eyeliner.(I smudge the eyeliner all over my lid, then apply this. Perfect for transforming your winter and fall palettes to a shimmery spring one. I'm very pleased with the results. It changed the hue of my midnight shadow swatch to a ocean blue. Everyday must-have.

This palette is multifunctional and such a treat! You may have seen similar palettes by other brands, but this one is equally as good in quality and color turnout. Lots of product in this palette.

Use alone as a highlighter or combine with different color eyeliners and shadows. This greatly multiplies your eye makeup collection. Makes it fun to experiment with different colors. This would be a good gift for those who tend to have more neutral shades in their collections so they can test the waters and for those who have countless duos/quads/palettes so they can go even more crazy with colors :)

Blends well. Shows up well in daylight and very alluring for evening looks. I have used it over black eyeliner with the brush that it comes with. To apply over larger surfaces, use an eyeshadow brush and dab it on top. Use each alone or blend together for a really pretty rainbow effect. Use over white or pearl eyeliner for an even greater pop :)

As someone else mentioned in a previous review, it is perfect for travel because it allows you to travel lightly without having to cut down your color options so much. The mirror is helpful, especially if you're only bringing eyeliners to wear this over.

As another reviewer mentioned, I would also like to see this include a dual-ended applicator someday, preferably eyeliner brush and eyeshadow brush :)

One of the best ELF products I have tried and continually use :)

I really liked this palette. The shadows go on nice and smoothly, and they cover the eyes amply. I don't have to go back for multiple strokes to get good coverage.

I think this is an excellent buy. The only issue I have with it, is the same as their cream shadows, which is not enough pigmentation.

Each color looks the same white-ish. That's the only reason I deduct stars.

I LOVE this product! My favorite out off the whole this is the green. It's a lovely high frost sea green that I hyaven't found anywhere else. These work great as highlights and just adding that extra "oomph" to your shadows. I will say however, that they do not stay on very well unless there is something sticky underneath it. But over all, I love this product and will deffinatly be buying another when I run out!

This is a terrific product for highlighting and adding a new dimension to existing shadows. It's not very finely milled so it feels a bit...bulky?...going on, but other than that, it's great. Don't count on the brush, though. It's not well suited to the product, the bristles being too short and stiff. It pulls off as much as it puts on.

I just got this in the mail and immediately tried it over a layer of black cream shadow. It looks absolutely amazing, but it doesn't stay on, even though the cream shadow was a rather sticky base.
In the inner corner it's a great highlight when you're working with a color theme and don't want to deviate too far from it, but you really need something to set it in or else it will rub off.
I really want to love this product, but it could be better. If only it would stay put, I'd give a full 5 stars.
